Purchases: 001

I know i'm a little late on the band wagon of the Real Technique brushes (Boots: £21.99) but I have finally decided to purchase some in the hopes of re vamping my make up collection. I'm personally not one for make up, i'm such a fail as a girl. I'm more of a moisturiser, mascara, eyebrows, blusher then done kinda girl. I don't wear foundation so don't even know the shade of my skin, its all pretty alien to me.

I have however invested in some concealer so I look a little less pale in the winter, I've been reading many reviews over the past few years but decided that i'd actually do something about it. I decided to go for the Collection (2000) concealer in Medium (Boots: £4.19), blogs from the likes of Zoella rave about this and for the price I thought I'd give it a try.

Lastly, I bought some Sally Hansen Miracle Cure nail varnish (Boots: £9.99). For anyone who knows me personally knows I have an unhealthy addiction to painting my nails and its a rare occasion that they are seen un painted, but due to this abuse my nails are in pretty poor condition so i'm hoping this does what it says on the tin.

As well as all these I went bought a sports bra, mini eggs and shampoo which is pretty boring so I didn't bother to photograph. I also went to see Britain's got Talent with my flat mates and have a video of the judges walking in (exciting stuff!) I've had the most wonderful weekend and next weekend it doesn't seem to stop either. I am off to visit my friend Melissa in Liverpool where she studies for her birthday then I am off back to good ol' Telford for a reading week on Sunday. Such a busy bee but i'm hoping for some down time when I get back home, excited for home comforts again for sure.

Oh how time flies, definitely can not believe its February though. To be honest, I only started spelling February right in year 11 (I kid you not). Anyway, its been a pretty busy month for me, coming back to uni after Christmas and getting back into the swing of things again, birthdays for two of my flat mates, an assignment and a wonderful weekend away with Sam in Leeds where we stay at the Hilton (which is trรจs posh!) then had my little nephews very first birthday! I cannot believe how quickly both him and my niece are growing up, definitely making me feel old. I haven't been doing much else bar few nights out with the girls, a little bit of uni and a lot of sleep. I'm already having a busy February having been to Warehouse Project last night and i'm going to the Britain's Got Talent auditions with my flat mates tomorrow afternoon which I am far too excited about. I expect we'll catch some dinner in town and i'm hoping to do a little beauty haul in Boots if possible, desperately in need of a revamp of my make up bag, its soooo 2012 *Cher from clueless voice*
